4 Ateps 4 Men To Look Good

Follow these 4 simple steps to look good, for longer:

1 - Wash

Men have approximately 20% oilier skin and significantly larger pores than women. This means we get dirtier, yet we don't wash often enough!
No matter what skin type you have, it is essential to clean your face twice every day, morning and evening.

Cleansing products should be as chemical free as possible. Soap shouldn't be used on your face because it cleans with harsh ingredients and may strip your skin of natural oils resulting in your glands producing more oil, which will clog your pores.

Instead use a Face Wash or Face Cleanser especially formulated for men. It keeps pores clear, skin healthy, and you looking good.

A good Facial Scrub used weekly is essential for healthy clean skin. It will remove dead cells and smooth the surface of your face. The Scrub should be strong without being damaging. A weekly scrub will invigorate you, not hurt you and make your complexion look healthy.

2 - Shave

Most Shaving Gels and Foams are too aerated and not efficient at the point of contact. It's what is in contact between razor blade and skin that matters most.

Using Shave Oil forms a well-lubricated cushion between skin and razor for a smooth shave. The Shave Cream you then use is just as important as a good blade. The right Shave Cream means less resistance, less irritation, less nicks and a longer lasting blade.

Using a Shaving Brush is the easiest way to apply Shave Cream and the fastest way to prepare your skin and facial hair for a close and painless shave. You make lather instantly as you swirl the Brush against your face, lifting facial hair off your skin.

Always use a good Razor with a sharp blade, rinsing in warm water before and regularly, whilst shaving. Do not apply too much pressure on the Razor and shave in the same direction as your facial growth to prevent in-grown hairs.

After shaving, skin is particularly vulnerable. Rinse off with cool water to close your skin pores and pat dry with a clean towel.

3 - Protect

Avoid heavy fragrant products after shaving, as they can irritate the skin. Use a Facial Toner to remove any residue, close the pores and refresh your face.

Help your skin recover by rubbing in some Aftershave Balm rich in essential oils.

Moisturising is a necessity on your face and neck after washing and shaving in order to hydrate and nourish your skin. You should use a Moisturiser that has no alcohol in it and is appropriate to your skin type.

Avoid over exposure to the sun as sun damage leads to hyper pigmentation, which can develop, into serious skin disease. Excessive exposure can also exaggerate and thicken fine lines on your face. Use an SPF 15 or higher on all exposed skin, especially the face.

Finally don't forget about your lips. Find a Lip Balm with an SPF of at least 15 and use regularly.

4 - Polish

It is very important to hydrate the sensitive area under the eye. It's one of the first places to show age because the under eye skin secretes no necessary oils on its own. Gently tap an Eye Cream in and around the sides and bottom of your eyes to remove puffy circles.

The best way to give yourself a healthy glow is to add a little Self-Tanning product to your Moisturiser.

Brush your teeth for 2-3 minutes at least twice a day, using floss regularly.
A good haircut can work wonders, while nails should be kept short and clean. Finally, add your favourite Fragrance to your pulse points, and you're Looking Good!.
